Ford Mondeo Door Lock Problem

Hi im also having this problem on a 02 mondeo.

Ford mondeo door lock problem.

Issues in ford cars door locks and central lock system. Many ford vehicles also provide an open trunk feature. After 1 year with problems with locking my car i found something. What happens is i cant lock the car with the remote because it just locks then unlocks itself straight away.

I have a problem with locking my mondeo mk3. It locks and unlocks your doors starts the engine itself or through the available push button start and ensures that only it can start the engine. Ford cougar 1998 ford focus 1999 ford mondeo 1996 to 1998 problem. Put the key into drivers door lock turn for close and keep it forced clockvise so the door automaticly shut down central locking and than i close all the other.

Most ford vehicles now come standard with a keyless entry remote control. Malfunction or lack of activation of the anti theft warning system. Whan i close the door they open imediatly. So i lock it with the key and all doors lock.

If i use the remote to unlock it all doors unlock apart from the drivers door. I have a problem with locking my mondeo mk3. Ford technical service bulletin tsb 05 10 21 says to clean any corrosion from the door latch connectors then pack them full of dielectric grease. I have a problem.

This allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle doors without actually inserting the key into the door handle. However you can still set off the alarm while attempting to open the power door locks. These problems may be a result of a faulty electrical contact at the door contact switch in the lock striker on the b or c pillar. Sometimes it works sometimes it wont.

Info and repair ideas. I have searched the net everywhere but the only thing i found was this. What is the problem. Ford personnel and or dealership personnel cannot modify or remove reviews.
